SIRE - MANUKA MONTEGO, was the grandson of The Champion of Spain, JENSON. MANUKA MONTEGO an impressive performance PRE and was the foundation stallion at ANDALUKA STUD, siring many outstanding horses with movement, temperament and exquisite spanish looks. MANUKA MONTEGO was the son of HORTELANO VII - a magnificent young stallion imported to Australia from Spain by renowned horseman 'Malcolm Barnes'. At the time HORTELANO VII was part of the 'Domecq Royal Riding School in Jerez; during his days in Australia HORTELANO VII & Malcolm took the equestrian world by storm promoting the breed at Royal shows, dressage days and exhibitions.


DAM- MAYICA DE LUCINDA, is a tall , bay mare with excellent bone and was the second highest scoring mare in Australia during the first revision. With MALUSO within her genetics there is no doubting of this mares excellence. Both her Sire LUSILLO and her Dam MANUKA MAGICA were born in England during Quarantine from Spain to Australia. LUSILLO was MANUKA Studs prime stallion, he won many championships at open shows and although he died in 1997, he left 112 registered horses including 54 purebreds and, in 2005, his progeny won the Founder's Cup, making him the National Progeny Sire for 2005.
